Making the decision to adopt can be a difficult and emotional choice. It is important that you examine your reasons for adopting, your expectations, and your understanding of the lifelong commitment required. Finding someone who has experience with this process can help you as you make this important decision. My experience working with adoptive parents for over five years has given me great insight and understanding of this process.
Adoption Home Studies
I’ve worked with families to complete adoption home studies in preparation for adopting a child. As a contract worker for Families United Network, I can complete your home study and guide you through the documentation and clearances you will need before you can be approved to adopt a child.
If you have adopted a child, you already know the challenges as well as the
rewards that come with this experience. While there are many resources and
support groups available to adoptive parents and their children, sometimes
individual attention can help you address the specific needs of your child and
your family. I can help you and your adoptive child as you work your way through
the ordinary and unusual situations that arise in adoptive families. My experience
with adoptive families as well as my expertise working with pre-teens and adolescents
can give you the support you need to address the specific issues that arise with adopted children.
If you are considering adoption, or if you have adopted children and are concerned about issues that could be arising within your family, please call me to discuss the possible assistance and support I can offer you.
